    Hey all –

Just upgraded to FCP6 and whenever I capture my mini DV footage (Panasonic DVC-80), it seems as though the audio is out of sync by about 5 frames. However, if I open the footage in QT, it is not out of sync. I have gone over all the settings and cannot figure this out… please help! Thanks!

    I’m using FCP 6.0.1, Mac OS 10.4.10 on a 4×2.5 GHz PowerPC G5.

Maybe the answer is in Systems Settings>Playback Conrol>Frame Offset… set it to “0” for no delay in the canvas. If you’re watching on an external monitor thru a firewire device, adding to this offset puts that monitor in sync.
