I am importing clips using the Sony Clip Browser into my new Mac CS5 and the audio plays fine in the clip browser but is out of sync in Premier and After Effects. Any suggestions. All updates are current.
    Thank you.

You say “all updates are current”, but please confirm that you have installed the Premiere Pro CS5 (5.0.2) update. That update fixes a lot of problems with audio synch.

After you’ve updated, if the problem persists, clear your media cache and try again. One cause of out-of-synch audio was bad .mpgindex files, and you need to force Premiere Pro or After Effects to re-index to get the updated software to create them correctly.

What frame rate did you record the footage at?
Was it drop frame? Oh say 30 frames per second?
Did you tell your editing program that it was drop frame?
This get lots of new editors.
