Audio sync issues in 5.03
I am experiencing major sync issues with my audio coming in thru firewire. Here are the specs. I am usinf FCP 5.03 with Tiger running on a G5 with 4gb Ram (this issue has been duplicated on 4 other g5 macs)I am using firewire 800 to my Lacie drives. I am using Panasonic d-250 dvcpro decks. I have recorded various clips only about 10 mins in length and have gotten my audio tracks up to 2 seconds out of synch with the video. With timecode overlays showing the same code on both audio and video tracks!. When I redig from the same source tape, sending my audio thru analog inputs(using my deck link card) the audio is in sync with the video. When I digitize the same clips on a laptop with 4.5 I get no audio sync problems. Is anyone having this problem?????
