Audio Sync / FCP / DVDSP
Okay…I need some assistance. Recently, we shot a concert for a band (HVX200, 720P / 24PN along with a multitrack recording). We recorded ambient sound from the cameras in order to sync up the final mix with the concert. Everything was cut in FCP and seemed to line up perfectly. Then…came the problem. After temporarily placing the HD cut into a SD timeline, using compressor and placing on DVD, the audio is off. Anyone??? I was under the impression that DVD players did the pulldown. Therefore, one would think that everything should line up properly. Anyone???
