I’ve heard from several online sources that there is an inherent 1-2 frame delay between audio and video sync when shooting with the DVX-100 or DVX-100A. Is that true? Is it true when shooting 24P or 24P-Advanced or 29.97? Is there an exact offset that I can apply when cutting it in FCP 4.5?

How is this delay typically dealt with in post? Are any of the DV Camera Tuner plug-ins for FCP useful in compensating for the delay?
