I have a recording of a broadcast in .mpg format. I want to burn it to a Blu-Ray and add chapters to make it more navigable on a player. I used tsMuxer to create the BDMV/.iso format needed to burn to a disc, then burned the Blu-Ray. Everything looks great with the finished project, except later on in the video the sound gets out of sync.

If I had to guess why, I’d say it’s because the software is using the frame rate 59.94 when in reality the .mpg file is the NTSC standard (60,000/1001) which equates to about 59.94005994005994. The difference is minor but over a long recording it eventually makes the sound out of sync.

What software can I use to add chapters to the MPG and burn to a Blu-Ray or otherwise fix the audio issue. I’m not 100% sure that is the cause, but I feel like it is.

    Any advice would be appreciated.

    Thanks!

Make sure your audio is in sync before exporting your time-line.

    Cheers
