audio syn issues
Ok, you guys just helped me a few hours back with a question. I needed to sync my audio, which was recorded separately with my footage. Your suggestions worked great, thanks! However, I have one problem. My audio doesn’t stay synced for the whole 25 minute clip.
Here’s my details: I recorded footage on my Canon HV20, at 24p I believe. I recorded my sound on a portable Zoom recorder, in MP3 mode. My guess is that something might have gone wrong between my frame rate on the import, not sure. Any ideas?

your canon prints to tape at 29.97 your zoom TC base is 30fps. I’ve never used the pull up/down in soundtrack pro but that may be your ticket. Try exporting an aiff bring it in soundtrack pro and process the pulldown.
I would presume your audio is ahead of the Video near the end of your pieceDoug Beal
