    Hi,
Apologies if this is really simple but can’t find out where I’m going wrong. Whatever I drop onto one of my timelines seems to be affected by an audio suite plugin (EQ with the top end taken off)… but I have no idea how you add an audio plugin to a track in general… and more importantly how to remove one. Maybe I slipped and pressed a wrong key when adding this effect to a particular clip, but if anyone could just point me in the right direction in terms of taking a plugin off a track that would be great.
    Thanks,
    Paul

Does the clip in question have an effect icon of any sort on the audio track? If it doesn’t there isn’t an effect applied. Do all your clips sound like this, or is it just the one?

    Thanks Jon.
No, no effect icon. There’s something weird going on because whatever I drop onto that track around that area also has the same effect applied…. but a bit further beyond that area on the timeline this doesn’t happen. I tried dropping a bit of dialogue onto the track before the piece of music and that somehow seems to re-set the track so the music then sounds fine. Likewise, there is other audio on the same track later-on which seems to re-set things so that after this the audio effect problem doesn’t occur. I’m not sure if I’ve explained myself particularily well… but basically it’s all a bit weird. I’m on v2.8.1 of Composer. Is this a glitch with this version by any chance?
    Thanks,
    Paul

Ok, found the problem – my fault. The tracks in question were centred rather than panned left and right and this somehow created an effect much like the treble being knocked off… you learn something new every day,
    cheers,
