    Hi,
I am making a DVD of a video that was shot on a mini DV camera. The footage was edited in premiere and now I am making a dvd of it in encore.

When I play the video in encore, the audio stutters every couple of seconds. I thought no big deal it is just something goofy with encore playing back the file, I will burn it and it will go away.

Well, it shows up on the actual DVD as well.

It doesn’t stutter in premiere nor in quicktime when I play back the exported file.

The only thing I can think of is that the tape was shot in LP mode and had 32k audio. Would that cause problems like this?

    Thanks,
    CW

Quite possibly. Try converting it from 32 kHz to 48 kHz, and see if the problem persists.
