Audio stopped working, what happened?
Been using version 12 and 15 for a while now. I use 15 when editing iphone footage. It just seems to handle it better. I worked on a project in 12 the other day then loaded it into 15 ..but when it loaded, there was no audio. You can see the audio meters moving but there is no sound. I tried toggling solo, mute on individual tracks and the master track…but nothing would bring the audio back. I started loading older projects that I edited in 15 ..but when the projects loaded, there was no audio anymore. I went into the audio drivers settings and tried ASIO …at that point, you could hear audio but it sounded like it was coming out of some cheap mono speaker build into the motherboard or something ..but when I switched back to the original driver there was no audio again. I’ve been using 15 almost every day for a year and have never had this issue.
Any ideas? -

I just did a reset on Vegas 15 by holding down SHIFT + CTRL while doubling clicking the V15 Icon. It then brings up an option to reset the settings and also to remove saved data. I tried that, and still no luck. I loaded the program, the whole layout was back to factory default, but audio doesnt work. You see the audio meters working, but just no sound. I instantly loaded up vegas 12, and the sound works perfectly. :/

Maybe…..
I Windows 10 – right-click the Speakers icon on the taskbar, and then select Open Volume mixer.
You’ll see a set of volume controls for your devices. Make sure Vegas 15 is not muted.
