I’m setting up a film project that was shot on the Alexa Mini. The sensor fps was 23.976 while the project fps was 24p on the camera. External sound was recorded at 23.976.
I’ll be syncing 1080p dailies in Avid, but confused as to what start time to use when I import audio.
    I’m assuming I would setup a 1080p/24 project…but at what frame rate should I import audio: 23.976 or 24?

I would create both, import one shot with both picture and sound, sync them and see which one drifts. Sync drift will be 1 frame every ~42 seconds so make sure it is a long enough clip to verify sync. Then go with the one that does not drift. ☺
