I’ve got a problem that has just started happening in PPro CS4. When ever I add the “Multiband Compressor” to my audio clips my project freezes then shuts PPro down with a audio/stack/sub/buffer error.

It’s driving me crazy, and you have to remove the effect from all audio clips or it will shut down right when you hit the play button everytime.

Anyone else have this problem? Any fixes?

    Thanks,

    Danny

What are your system and OS specs.

I am using Win7 and it works without a problem.

    I’m using,

    Windows Vista (Latest version)
    2.6 Mhz pentium dual Core
    6 G ram
    64 bit

As I Said before, it has worked fine for the last 8 months but now is having the problem. I have not made any changes, downloads or added any new hardware.

My system has always run the program great til now.

    Hmmmm?

Try holding down Shift key from launch until welcome screen to reset the plugins.

I am running premiere on a Mac OSX, Quad-Core Intel Xeon processor. Premiere shuts down every time I try to use Multiband Compressor. I can get it to work on a few clips usually, but it has shut down %100 of the times I have tried using it. This is very frustrating.

I am using it to boost my audio levels, volume and audio mixer are not making it loud enough. Is there a way to get the program to stop crashing? Or, is there a way to get my levels up to where they need to be without using MB compressor?
    Thanks,
    -Wes
