Hi all, I am a newie to this forum, some great people here with such an insight into such a great program, hopefully you can help me. I am using vegas pro 8 to edit short video clips which i use in my band in conjunction with backing tracks, which we display on a projector behingd the stage. Our drummer has a metronome or as we call it, a click track in the right channel which he hears via headphones to help him keep time. The left channel is our front of house audio, samples etc. Previously when we used these samples and click tracks on an ipod without video the drummer had no problems, click track was clear in the right channel and front of house in left. Now that we have started using video, when i render the mpeg4 video stuff with all the front of house hard panned left 100% and the click panned 100% right we get heaps of audio spilling from front of house into the much quieter right channel, which can be quite deafening for our poor drummer. can any one please offer any help as it is imperative that right channel has no spill and vice versa.
