Audio speed and audio pitch
Hey everyone, I’m just trying to increase the speed of an audio clip while maintaining the audio pitch. Normally, I’d Right click and select Speed Duration, set the percent and select “Maintain audio pitch”. This usually works fine, but in Premiere 2024, the audio sounds super artificial with even a 1 percent increase. Is there a better way to go about this?

You’ll need to separate Audio from Video … assume it’s vocal audio coming from a source not currently visible in the clip? The best pitch processing tool I’ve used is Melodyne Studio version.

Hi Malcom! Try the audio effects/Time and Pitch/Pitch Shifter plugin that is included in Premiere Pro. It works a lot better than the “Maintain Audio Pitch” checkbox.
