In order to streamline my workflow for this particular project requiring a transcode of several scores of clips, I’d like to create a preset to eliminate source channels 1, 3 and 4, leaving source 2 as the only audio for the transcode. 1 and 2 are mono, and 3 and 4 are the onboard stereo pair. However, when I attempt to delete the streams (see images) I can’t isolate source channel 2. (Stream 3, stereo pair, deletes fine.) When I select Stream 1 with source 1, and delete it, stream 2/ source 2 disappears, and all that’s left is stream 1 with source 1. Playback of the processed file confirms this is indeed the case. Because I’m not a seasoned editing veteran (neither am I a newbie) I suspect I’m overlooking something. Thanks for any advice.
