I just finished editing a video and I noticed that I had accidentally deleted a clip. I placed the original video/audio segment back in on another track and found the piece I wanted to add back in. I cut the segment I wanted and moved it into the newly edited video sequence.

When I went to playback the video, all the sound was gone. The audio track remains visible, but there is no sound.

It’s not muted and there doesn’t seem to be anything identifiably wrong.

How can I fix it? Do I have to do the whole edit over again?

Can you open any of the auto-saves? Or is it too late already?
