Audio signal lost between Ki Pro GO and Matrox Maevex 6020 (HDMI) after reboot.
We’re having an intermittent audio problem (loss of signal) on the HDMI monitor output of the Ki Pro GO after a power cycling or reboot. In this case the Matrox Maevex 6020 encodes the video signal normally, but mutes the audio. The strange part: without rebooting either device, removing the HDMI cable from the Matrox and plugging it into any other HDMI device, the audio is present and sounds normal. Immediately plugging the same cable back into the Matrox, the audio is restored! Is it possible that a CEC command is being passed, in one direction or the other to cause the audio to be muted? Any clues or thoughts would be appreciated.
