audio settings
Hi all, next weekend I am on a shoot where they will be using a DVX100. I am doing sound for them. Will this camera take a line level ? if it is changeable by a menu can you give me a brief how to switch between mic and line. Sorry to ask such a basic question but I have been on some shoots lately wher the camera operators are not fimiliar with the audio setup and I would rather use line instead of mic levels. and I take it a – 12db is norm for this camera?

Yes it does both- there’s switches for line/mic for both channels behind the LCD monitor.
