Audio selection for multigroup clips
I am assistant editing on AVID, creating standard, two-camera multigroup clips. They are coming along fine, but my problem is this:
One camera has the lavalier mic, so that’s the sound I want represented in the entire multigroup (except of course when that camera isn’t rolling). However, as cameras turn on and off in the final multigroup, sometimes it will only play the audio of the bad-camera-audio camera, and not the good one even though both cameras are rolling.
It seems it plays the audio of whatever camera is in the top-left of my 4-pane split, but sometimes that’s the A cam and sometimes it’s the B-cam.
How do I make it so I can make sure the A-cam is always in the top-left position, so its audio is always upfront?
