audio scrubbing freezes the app
Does anyone else have an answer for this one? I open up a new project , add an audio file and am scrubbing through the track to find precise audio point and the app freezes. I’ve tried it with wav, aif and mp3 files but get the same error. Please help. My system is a New Macbook Pro 2.6 dual core with 4 gb of ram. Latest software updates and everything. Is this a known issue?

This just started happening to me yesterday. I upgraded to Leopard the day before, so am thinking that might be the culprit.

Try increasing your buffer size in AE’s “Audio Hardware” Preference. I set mine to 1024 and its been fine for the last couple hours.
