Audio Replace
This seems like it should be easy:
I’ve got some pre-purchased stock music tracks in the timeline. I’ve made volume adjustments and edits to the music, so I need to replace the old clips with the new purchased tracks while maintaining the timeline work. Is there a best practice for this?This seems to work for video clips: hold down Option and drag and drop clip over another. But that doesn’t seem to work the same way for audio. What am I missing?

Answered my own question: it is the same as replacing video. You need to note down the original audio track in and out points in the timeline, then mark those points on the new track before dragging and dropping in to replace. However, depending on the supplier of the audio track, the exact start and stop points on the preview and purchased track might be slightly off, as was my experience on one track and not on another.
