  • Audio Render Files on Export in CC

I’ve seen some posts sort of alluding to this, but, ever since moving to CC I suddenly have tremendous audio previews on export that I never had under CS6. A 5 minute project is taking 1/2 hour to output and hogging up tons of disk space. I’ve clicked “use previews” to no avail. Any other ideas about this new “feature”?

I guess no one else out there is is having this.

NOTE: I was able to make things better (re:faster) by exporting to Media Encoder where it didn’t seem to need the endless audio render files.

    Thanks,

I have the same problem. Every time I export a short source range I get long audio rendering and gigabytes of .cfa and .pek preview files. Why?!

    Mina –

I never did get a clear answer on this. I did find that by exporting to Media Manager – i.e., the “Queue” option – the problem went away. It seems it has a problem with using a direct export.

    Hope this helps!
