Audio Question
Hi, I have a question about audio in Premiere Pro 2.0. I use to work on final cut pro, and have switched over. I shoot using a panasonic dvx100b, and I record audio to two channels. Sometimes I set my shotgun mic to one channel and then another mic on the other channel for ambient sound. When I used final cut it would import each channel as two audio tracks and then I could set them as I pleased. Premiere however just sets them to one track. Is there a way to change this at all?

In the project window, select the video, then in the Clip menu, select Audio Options, then Breakout to Mono.
