Audio Question
I’m having a weird issue with AE8 (one of many weird issues) relating to how it is interpreting my Blackmagic clips. It’s seeing the audio of clips captured with Decklink 6.0 as “48k 24-bit U”. Clips captured with 6.1 it’s seeing as “48k 16-bit”. When I view them in AE7 it sees them all as 48k 16-bit, so I’m assuming they’re all actually 16 bit? What does the “U” mean. Is it normal digital audio nomenclature or something weird generated by After Effects. The 6.0 clips all play fine in AE8… the 6.1 clips won’t play audio. I’m assuming it’s not a Blackmagic problem, but an Adobe problem, and am curious what’s going on “under the hood” so I can report the bug to Adobe. Also I’ve recently updated Quicktime to 7.1.6
Also, is there a way to change the sample rate & bit depth in Blackmagic?
