Audio Question
I’m capturing video into my system. The video was recorded with 12 bit audio. Should I change all my settings for final cut to match this 12 bit audio?

Yeah… set your audio capture presets to be 32 kHz, 16 bit.
You can do this with a custom capture preset… duplicate the one you’re using now, then change it’s audio capture preset to the above…

Yes… change the capture preset to 32kHz, 16 bit. That will match the sample rate of a 12 bit audio recording. If you don’t do this and capture at 48 kHz, 16 bit, you’ll have the problems you’re seeing now.
