Audio punch-in problem using internal mic
I’m using Media Composer v3.0.5 and trying to record a guide voice-over to music using the built in mic on my MacBook Pro. Everything records fine, but I can’t find a way of muting the mic output so I can avoid the annoyance of hearing my own voice delayed in my headphones during the recording. Muting the VO track doesn’t work, nor does muting the output volume in my OS system preferences. Has anyone managed to achieve this?

I use an exteral mixer.
