Processing some audio inside AE: what I’m trying for is a “NASA”-style voice over, the kinda thing where the flight controller says “We have ignition”.

What audio effects would work together to accomplish this effect? The original track is pure vanilla VO.

    Tnx!

You need to drastically EQ the audio, and if you can get hold of any audio software, you will be much better off. (If you have Creative Cloud, use Audition. It has presets to automatically do exactly what you want.) AE has little in the way of audio tools.

If for some reason you simply can’t do it any other way, you can use the (clunky) Parametric EQ effect.

Take a look at this tutorial and probably add some more echo: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rFnx6HWbTaw
