Audio problems with AVI
I started working with Encore when my usual dvd author program TMPGENC DVD Author wouldn’t correctly encode audio from an avi I was trying to add to a dvd compilation. Anyway, I like the interface and had no trouble building my dvd but on preview only the menu audio played. The video played fine but with no audio. I had 3 avi’s on the compilation, not just the one I was having trouble with. I built the dvd and burnt a test disc and the menu is fine and audio comes across fine, but when any of the videos are played there is no sound at all. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What codec was used to create the .avi file?
What format is your audio (PCM, MPEG, Dolby Digital)?
