Sorry can’t find a thread on this…(hoping for quick response)

Client wants video from a 30 min mini DVD-RW included in project.
Took said disc to dub house to get it on miniDV.
Audio fine in logging minDV, audio also fine when playing the capture scratch file.
Alas, when dropped into timeline, audio goes goofy.
Specifically, it goes out of sync (although the red warning boxes not appearing)
plus talker’s voice gains a bit of a screechy quality (like my old cassette tape when
    it was stretched too thin…)
Also I have a bit of echo going on between A1&A2.

Have tried deleting browser file and reimporting capture scratch file. Fine in viewer,
    goofed up in timeline.
What’s happening? Where, o where, did I go wrong?

Massive thanks to you Cow Gods out there…
