    Hey guys!
I need some adivice with an audio problem. I have Canon Rebel EOS SL1 100D. I am shooting video with it and have a Rode external mic on it. I am trying to listen to my audio though a set of headphones. Now, I know it does not have a headphone jack so I bought a Sescom DSLR 3.5mm usb (a/v out) male end to a AUX female end. I then plug my headphones into the AUX end. But unfortunately when i plug in my usb into my camera the screen goes black, in video mode and also in playback mode. It will not allow me to adjust any settings or anything. When i unplug it, everything goes back to normal. I read articles and watched videos and the Sescom cable is what I gather i needed to make this work. Could someone please let me know how I can listen to my audio through headphone on my Canon Rebel SL1? Thank you very much.
