Audio Problems.
Anyone here on the post have any ideas as to how to get fix some of my audio problems for my feature? I have a LOT of background noise in a lot of shots…and the audio is way too loud in a lot of them too. I have sound forge but can’t afford the plugin for it. Anyone have any ideas other than just using the smooth option over and over again. That just makes it sound too muted. I appreciate it.

well, use volume envelopes to adjust the sound when it’s too loud – simple solution.
also, can pull down the top edge of an audio event to reduce all volume in that event.
others can point you in the right direction for free noise reduction
