I have a sequence with 2 tracks of recorded voiceover (one recording in stereo) and 2 tracks of stereo music along with it. When I listen through the speaker on my G5, I cannot hear the voiceover, only the music. When I listen through headphones, or listen to the same track on my G4 Powerbook, I can hear it all just fine.

I have tried exporting the audio from the sequence as both mono and a stereo mix, thinking for some reason the voiceover is only on the right channel and that’s why my one speaker won’t play it. No luck, even exported mono or stereo mix, you still can’t hear the voiceover.

Any ideas would be much appreciated at this point.

    Thanks!

Perhaps the stereo voice over tracks are actually 2 track mono and one of the tracks is out of phase. When that is summed to mono, the VO cancels.

On the VO tracks, try muting one side and panning the other track to centre and see if that fixes it. If the files are stereo, you might have to unlink to mute one side.
