audio problems
Gentelmen,
We have FCP 5.0.4 and after a film transfer in DV format, have synced the audio, 2 channels to that. I then exported that as a QT movie. However, my client can see the video fine, but can not hear any audio. I did lay down some audio only clips as raw QT files, and he hears that audio fine. But not the audio I synced to the video, then saved as a DV-size QT combined file. (now the export of audio was noted as 4 channel, but only 2 are used.)
My client is running v. 4.5. He sees it but can not hear the QT audio. Any clue as to what I’m doing wrong?

Are you both using version 7 QT? The main change from QT6 to Qt7 was the audio. If your client has FCP4.5, chances are he is on QT6.
