while previewing a timeline in PPro2.0 with some hdv footage, occassionally a track or two of audio will just flat out go silent for a couple seconds and then come back. whats the deal?anyone know?

A likely cause is the hard drive’s inability to read the audio in a timely fashion. Possible causes…using one hard drive for source and preview files and conformed audio. Also badly fragmented drives will frustrate the reading abilkity of the drive. Nearly full (over 80%) drives get very slow.
    What is your system configuration?

Your drive config should handle most anything if it is not nearly full or badly frAgmented. Does rendering preview files help?
