We are running the latest version of Premiere Pro (12.1.0) both Win 7 Pro and Mac 10.13.4.

Issue: Audio edits shifting by 2 or 3 frames at export.

This is occurring on both platforms, but only with sequences created on the Mac. Most edits are no issue because they have room for the shift but on a few tight edits, it’s very obvious.

It’s somehow related to audio previews. All of the edits are fine on the timeline until previews are generated then the errors show up in the sequences. Deleting audio previews brings the sequences back to normal as Premiere again references the original media. Mac editor said it started when applying Essential Sound effects, but it’s happening even with effects removed.

Is there a way to keep Premiere from linking up to audio previews?

Things I’ve tried with no success:
Moving the edits to another sequence created on the PC.
    Removing effects attributes and exporting.
    Nesting, then applying effects.
    Rendering various output formats.

    Workaround:
I copied the affected clips to a new sequence, added frames to heads/tails, Exported and brought the “baked” audio clips back in, tightened up the edits, applied ES effects and all was good.

    Gotta be an explanation.

Dave, nothing like that. Just basic, audio only PP projects.
