On my timeline, the audio sounds completely fine. However, on export, there is popping /crispy sounds at random. . Anyone have any advice on why this is? I thought the audio was clipping and brought it down, checked nothing was in the red and exported again but it still has the audio/crispy sounds. It is a video essay with voice over.

We need more information. To start, what format is the original audio? Next, what are your render settings?

    System:
    Dell Precision T7600 (x2)
    Win 7 64-bit
    32GB RAM
Adobe CC 2017.1 (as of 8/2017)
    256GB SSD system drive
4 internal media drives RAID 5
Typically cutting short form from UHD MP4, HD MP4, and HD P2 MXF.

MP3 files don’t always play well with Premiere. If that’s what you’re using, try converting the files to AIF or WAV and replace them on the timeline before export.
