I installed 6.5 Multibridge drivers for Mac Osx and audio is still popping anyway.

I’m going back to 6.3. Good luck anyone!

    Hello,

On Vista 32 bit Ultimate, I’m running Multibridge Extreme PCI-E. When I installed 6.5 Multibridge extreme, I get DLL errors saying Decklink control, and when I try and access the Decklink control panel.

I have to then manually install these DLL from the decklink folder in program files intot he system 32 in Windows.

However, I am getting audio popping, clicking and lagging as if it is being played underwater. This sound problem in in Media Player, Quicktime, Adobe bridge, any application Windows uses for sound output.

If I go into Adobe Soundbooth cs3, Premiere cs3, and look at the audio it says Windows sound Decklink and plays back this bad sound. If I then switch in Adobe to Decklink audio from the dropdown. The audio then plays fine, so it seems to be a problem with the default sound in the audio output saying Decklink. So it must be using WIndows sound not the Decklink properly.

I have been in contact with support and they are not sure about the issue on why it happens.

    Borjis,

Are you on Vista as well? Is the sound problem the same as what I am getting with you?

That RC you sent me does not solve the problem.

    Popping abounds.

    Hello,

I been trying to get a solution called Blackmagic and emailed, but support have no answers yet to why I am getting audio clicking/dragging. They said it could be related to a sound bug they have in Vista about the audio device lossing connection.

Been having this problem for months and no solutions yet, I think I will just get another capture card. To many problems I have found trying to get the Multibridge Extreme working on Vista. Not sure if its driversm codecs, having DLL errors as well on the installers once its installed, still as well.

it seems like there are always more issues to deal with on the pc side of things with black magic product.

Though I admit the mac drivers are not flawless, they seem to have less problems.

I’m not surprised Vista support isn’t solid, lots of people are having issues with Vista just as an O/S so Microsoft recently allowed OEMS to continue selling XP until a service pack addresses Vista’s many issues.

I can’t say for sure that your problems will be solved with an AJA product.

    Hello,

6.5.1 Multibridge Drivers, have seemed to of fixed the audio lagging issue. I’ll keep an eye on it and see if it comes back.

Vista seems rock solid and stable from the ediitng I have been doing with it no crash yet.
