  audio playout delay

  Hi not sure if this is a blackmagic issue, but it could be:

  recently I have been getting an occasional problem (most recently in a client meeting!) where all of the audio played from my edit suite (FCP, Quicktime, iTunes) is coming out with about 1 sec delay. It seems to be fixed with a restart. could this be my card playing up?

  connection flow:
  2×3 Ghz Quad-Core intel Xeon Mac (OS x 10.4.11)
  > Blackmagic Decklink
  >Mixer (Eurorack PVM-D20L5a)
  >Speakers.

  any leads or suggestions will be much appreciated!
