  • Audio partially mssing when exporting compressed movie

    Hi,

trying to evaluate CatDv (with a fully working evaluation license) I have stumbled upon a major problem. I want to export movies from MXF metaclips (approx 1 hr) in Panasonic DV100 format to QT low-res movies (H.264, QCIF, AAC stereo 128 Kbit/s). Exporting seems to work fine, no error messages – but when watching the exported movie I find the video is there but audio is gone after one or two original clips (approx 5 or 10 minutes)! I’ve tried several different export settings to no avail.
Could this be a memory issue or what? (When the metaclip consisted of 8 original clips, I got audio from the first two. When metaclip was 15 clips, audio only from the first clip.)
    Any ideas?

    Best wishes,

Is the Calibrated codec licensed or a demo? That could be something.

I’ll buzz the Calibrated folks about this and see what they say.

    Many thanks Bryson,
the Calibrated DVCProHD codec is fully licensed, as is Import Assist and MXF Import. All are the latest version.
