    Hi there,

Just tried to pan some audio on a stereo clip I am working on and the pan seems to have stopped working. It used to work and has never been an issue before, even if I only used it rarely. This is regardless of what video clip I have added (which has stereo soundtrack with it). I can adjust the volume levels and everything else seems to work, just not the pan L/R function, regardless of how I try, whether it be at track level or via the FX tab. Right clicking the audio track and selecting channels and then selecting an option of Left or Right only makes no difference and the audio just sounds the same. I have looked in the settings of Vegas and can see no issues there and have cleared the cache and reset vegas to default. The audio drivers seem up to date. Is there something simple you can think of that I may have overlooked?

    Many thanks

    Yeah!
From all you have written, the problem does not lies with Vegas, its with your system audio settings.
Try putting everything back to its default settings and start from there.
