Audio Overmodulating
My audio from my lav mic is a bit too hot and is overmodulating. Any advice on a filter that will cut this down slightly. It’s not completely off the charts but could use some tweaking. Thanks.

Once the audio is recorded with “clipping” (maxed-out) its pretty much toasted.
Gotta monitor those levels on the meters and in headphones, thoughout the shoot.

Well… Thax is right…. If its clipped, you’re toast. But you can improve it a little in Soundtrack Pro. Just play around and you can normalize you levels at a lower more comfortable output level.
