Audio OverDubs in SonyVegas8
I have an audio track. I punch in to record an overdub and the punch in section is recorded and saved to my project. Problem: The original section is still playing and the only way I can get the overdub to play instead is to cut the section I recorded over and paste the overdub in the right spot. Even if I drag the overdub to the audio track it “moves to the back” and the original recorded section still plays. I should not have to cut out the original recording and paste (and properly line up)the punch in. What am I doing wrong or missing?
