Audio Output Mapping with BMD HD Extrm/PPro2
I can’t figure out how to output 4 channels of audio from PPro 2. In the Audio Output Mapping window, only 2 channels are available to move around and I need 4 in order to put a stereo full mix on Ch 1 & 2, and the stereo M & E mix on Ch 3 & 4. I need to output to a Digibeta deck, which has 4 channels. I’m going SD SDI to the deck, which I understand embeds 4 channels.
Any help much appreciated.

I’m in the same boat. Thought it was as easy as choosing audio 1-4 in the export to tape dialog. Not. It mixes down the 4 tracks to Audio 1&2 on the Digi on output. I’m on Windows using Premiere. Help!

You have to set the sequence to 5.1 and pan 1+2 to the front and 3+4 to the rear.
