  • Audio out of sync when exporting!

I converted FLAC to wav 48.000Hz 16-bit and imported to AE. My comp sample rate is 48.00Hz too. When I RAM preview, audio is in sync, but when I export QuickTime H.264 with audio settings 48.100Hz 16-bit, audio goes out of sync. Its like 0,5 secons earlier then it should be.
I have tried to use 44.100Hz 16-bit audio too and changed comps sample rate and export audio settings to 44.100Hz too, but same problem.
    I also tried aiff file.

    What can I do?

    I have:

    – PNG QuickTime video files
    – .psd files
    – .jpg files
    – .flm files (filmstrip)
    – solid layers

edit: I have .avi files in my comp too, but those are not visible (all .avi files are “off”).

I rendered the clip with QT PNG 100 settings, added it into the comp and deleted everything else but the audio (so theres only QuickTime video and audio file. Didn’t work………..

I exported audio only and audio is still out of sync. Tried with 2 different computers also.

I mean the audio starts earlier than it does in the RAM preview (you can here it without the video).

FLAC is lossless audio format. I converted FLAC -> wav and used those wav file in AE.

Is there any good and free software that I can use to finish this video? I mean using that QT PNG and audio file and render them to QT H.264.

Here is my suggestion. As I have been discovering with apps like AE and PPro, there seems to be this reliable rule of thumb: If the elegant is elusive, go with the inelegant. In other words, rather than further attempting to solve the problem AE is generating (which, to me, is sounding more and more like a bug), try adjusting for it. In my experience, this is a stress-reducing philosophy, particularly upon acknowledging the fact that these applications are not completely bug-free, however much one might wish they were.

Yeah.. I tried to solve this problem for 7 hours and I solved it now. I uninstalled CS3 and installed 7.0 and audio is in sync now, lol.
