  Audio Out Of Sync On Capture

  I’m trying to capture from HDCAM. Tape is 59.94 1080. Using FCP 7 and Kona 3 using 1080i 29.97 ProRes 422 HQ capture preset and Sony 29.97 VTR. House sync is set to 1080i.

  The video looks great after capture when I playback, but the audio is consistently 13 frames ahead of the video. My Kona Control Panel is saying that the REF In is set to 525i29.97 no matter if I change the Genlock to Free Run, Ref In (which says 525i29.97) or Video In (which says 1080i29.97). The diagram always says 525i29.97 Ref In and is a yellow triangle.

  I’m thinking this is the issue, but no matter how much I’ve changed settings, the audio is always ahead.

  Any ideas?
