Audio out of sync imported AVI
The original footage was captured using a PC, and the resulting AVI’s were then transferred to a Mac which is using FCP6
I do not know the camera settings, nor the settings that the PC used.
The problem is, when the AVI is played WITHIN Final Cut, the audio starts almost in sync, but after a few minutes is at least 5 seconds out.
When the AVI is played as a standalone file on the MAC, it plays fine, and also within DVD Pro. It is only when played back in FCP that the audio is out of sync.
Any ideas what I can do?

Final Cut Pro does not like AVI’s.
You need to convert everything to Quicktimes using Quicktime Pro.
