Audio out of sync
Sometimes when I send footage from FCP to Motion and back to FCP, the audio is out of sync with the video. For example, I recently did some greenscreen compositing in Motion, then sent it back to FCP for final edit and the audio came back out of sync. Everything was in sync before touching it with Motion. All the sequence settings, export setting, codecs, etc match. Any thoughts?

Motion sometimes does weird stuff to audio. I usually just focus on the video and keep my original audio in FCP and just reload to that.

It doesn’t make sense because audio doesn’t roundtrip between FCP and Motion. Your audio in FCP remains exactly the way it was. Perhaps there is something going on with your video?

I also have this problem, only difference is Final Cut is not being used.
All Clips are keyed in After Effects (Primatte RT just don’t cut it) and exported as ProRes 4444.
Then doing some magic in motion and re exported as ProRes 4444.Any other idea?
