Is there a way to nudge the audio in Vegas? Is there a way to make it not snap to a frame if you have to sync up two pieces of audio?

Yeah, you can turn off the snapping feature in the toolbar. It is a button up there next to the auto ripple and the like. Just depress it.

Still seems to be moving by frames….

Gotcha. I thought you were talking about the new feature introduced in 7 or 8.

Turn off Quantitize to frames. Note though, this can mess up your video if you are using video.

Thanks Jeremy that’s a huge help…I’ll keep an eye on the video issue…how exactly does it mess up the video?

Video is frame based. Audio is not. If you are not working in increments of frames, then you can have weird things happen to your cuts and the beginning and end of events and possibly elsewhere.
