audio not playing in encore 5 with preview or timeline
my audio is not playing anymore in encore 5. It doesn’t play from preview or timeline. It does play in PP5 but when I render it out and bring it into compressor 4 I know longer hear the audio here or in encore.
in encore I have motion menus, using compressor set originally to m2v and ac3 but that didn’t work. A different thread on here a user with similar problem was suggested to try and use wave files instead in compressor. That hasn’t worked either. I guess this is a bug issue or some kind of glitch…. so far I haven’t found a cause or solution.
Is my problem in PP or compressor rather then encore?

Since the audio doesn’t make it to compressor, I would look to Premiere. For example, did you mute the audio and forget to turn it back on? Not an uncommon cause of no audio…

I was able to work around this issue by rendering my PP file then opening encore and bringing the PP file in as a timeline and skipping encore entirely. My audio is playing now
