I finished editing my video and sent the audio to Soundtrack Pro for mixing.

I have a basic VO with some background music. During the Intro slides, I have the volume of the background track around -6DB. When the Presenter’s VO comes in… I have the volume dropping to about -22DB over the duration of about 4 seconds. In Soundtrack Pro, it sounds just how I want it.

But When I export the Audio and bring it in to Final Cut, It is not a gradual volume change. The volume of the background track holds at -6DB and takes an instant jump to -22DB. I set volume envelopes in Soundtrack, but they aren’t being recognized when I export the track. Any ideas?

I just noticed after I posted my last post that there is another problem.

The VO slowly falls out of sync with the presenters lips. before sending it to soundtrack, everything was in perfect sync.
